The de-railer needed to be adjusted as well as the brakes. I took it to my bike mechanic and for $ 12.00 he had me up and running. My wife and I bought Men's and Women's Victory Touring Cruiser Bikes for occasional riding for exercise - not any serious cycling. For that purpose, these bikes were great.
